Weekly Spelling Homework

The children will be sent home with spellings to learn over the half-term break. These spellings will be tested at the end of the first week back. The children will be learning the sounds in their phonics lessons, but any support in learning these at home would be beneficial to your child. You will notice that some spellings are repeated the following week. This is part of the scheme and designed to support the children's learning.
